Dentures

Dentures are restorative dental devices that can be removed from the mouth. Whether disease, accidents, or other oral health issues have left you with tooth loss, dentures are a simple and comfortable way to replace missing teeth. With excellent oral care at home and at the dentist, dentures can last up to 10 years.

Full, Partial & Implant-Supported Dentures

Dentures are a versatile treatment option because they can be used to replace some, many, or all missing teeth. Partial dentures are secured in place with the help of nearby teeth, and can fill in gaps in your smile. Meanwhile, full dentures replace a full arch of teeth (top or bottom), and are secured in the mouth by suction to the gums. As you require more replacements, we can update dentures to suit your changing needs. Another option is implant-supported dentures, in which dentures can be attached to several metal posts which are surgically implanted in the jaw.

What to Expect When You Receive Dentures

It can take some time to fit dentures. First, we’ll make sure your mouth is fully healed and recovered from any procedures (such as tooth extraction) that has left you with missing teeth. Next, we’ll take detailed images of your mouth using dental technology, helping us build a set of dentures that will fit your mouth comfortably. Finally, you’ll come in to learn how to put them in and care for them. It can take some time to get used to dentures, but soon, you’ll be eating and speaking naturally.
